Built around the freight buyer

Can shippers find, understand, and contact you?

A freight forwarder website audit connects technical checks with the information a potential customer needs before making an enquiry.

01 / SERVICES

Service clarity

We look for dedicated service content on the sampled pages. Air freight, ocean freight, customs, and warehousing pages help buyers understand which requirements you can handle.

02 / COVERAGE

Trade lanes & locations

We look for visible route, network, and location information. Specific coverage helps shippers assess whether your business fits their origin and destination.

03 / ENQUIRIES

Quotation journey

We check for quote and enquiry paths and inspect accessible forms. Clear next steps and useful shipment fields help buyers send an actionable request.

04 / TRUST

Buyer confidence

We look for published credentials, case studies, and other proof on the pages assessed. Finding a credential mention does not independently verify membership or certification.

05 / PERFORMANCE

Mobile page speed

A separate Google PageSpeed Insights test supplies Lighthouse lab measurements for the audited URL, including performance score and loading timings when available.

06 / DISCOVERY

SEO fundamentals

We inspect signals such as page titles, headings, descriptions, and crawl access. These checks identify technical improvements; they do not measure your live keyword rankings.

See what you receive

From a finding to a practical next step.

Your member dashboard brings together audit results, page performance, freight growth analysis, and an action plan. Each saved audit gives you a starting point for reviewing your website.

This illustrative example shows how to read a finding. Your results depend on the pages we can access.

No quote form found on the pages assessed

Example evidence
The homepage and sampled service pages show a contact email, but no accessible shipment quotation form was detected.
Why review this?
Buyers may need clearer instructions about which shipment details to send.
Suggested action
Add a visible request-a-quote path. Ask for origin, destination, transport mode, cargo details, weight, and ready date.

Before making changes, confirm whether an existing form is on an unvisited page or requires JavaScript.

Understand your results

A focused assessment, with clear boundaries.

01 / SAMPLE

Public website evidence

We aim to assess up to 8 pages on your website, including the homepage. Slow responses, crawl restrictions, and unavailable pages can reduce that number. Your dashboard shows how many pages were assessed and when the audit ran.

This is a sampled assessment, not an exhaustive website crawl. A missing signal means it was not found in the evidence collected.

02 / MEASURE

Speed and website readiness

Page speed comes from Google Lighthouse lab data through PageSpeed Insights. RouteRush's technical SEO and Freight Growth Scores use our audit rules to assess the evidence collected.

The Freight Growth Score assesses website readiness. It is not a Google score, a shipment-growth measure, or a prediction of revenue. Lab speed results can vary between runs.

03 / PERSONALIZE

Your commercial context

Add your services, target customers, trade lanes, and sales priorities in the optional Business Profile. Run an updated audit to use those answers in your Growth and Action Plan sections.

Member-provided information is labelled separately from website evidence. Recommendations should be reviewed against your business and the pages actually assessed.

Freight website audit FAQs

What is included, how your results work, and what to do next.

Is the freight website audit free?

Yes. The website preview, member dashboard, Business Profile, and available downloads are currently free. No credit card is required.

Do I need to register?

You can start with a website preview without registering. Create a free account or log in to run and save your full member audit and access the free downloads.

Which pages does the crawler check?

The crawler starts with your website and aims to assess up to 8 public pages, prioritizing relevant content it discovers. It may return fewer pages because of time limits, access restrictions, or unavailable content. Check the pages-assessed count in your results.

What does the Freight Growth Score measure?

It summarizes RouteRush's assessment of how the sampled website evidence supports buyer discovery, understanding, trust, and enquiries. It does not measure actual leads, sales, shipment volumes, or future revenue.

Does this replace a complete SEO audit?

No. It is a practical first assessment of technical and commercial website signals. It does not include a complete crawl, verified keyword rankings, backlink analysis, or access to your analytics and sales systems.

Why might a score or measurement be unavailable?

A website may block automated access, respond slowly, or rely on content the crawler cannot read. Google's speed service can also be unavailable or rate-limited. Review the status and coverage before interpreting a result.

Do I have to complete the Business Profile?

No. It is optional, and you can save your answers and return later. The details help tailor recommendations when you run an updated audit.

Can I audit my website again after making improvements?

Yes. Start a new audit from your dashboard after updating your website. Previous member audits remain in your history. Compare the findings and coverage as well as the scores, since sampled pages and speed conditions can differ. Usage limits may apply.
